Church growth is something that all Christians hope for. But sometimes, knowing where to start or how to pray for it can be difficult. Growth in faith and love for God worldwide will bring us all together as Christians and believers.

Prayer for More Church Members
Dear God, I pray to you on behalf of my church.
I pray that you will grant your church members the grace of perseverance and help them to stay focused on you.
Father, grant us the grace to be faithful to worship you with all our hearts even when a thousand different things and opportunities tempt us. Help us see these temptations as opportunities to draw nearer to God. I pray that you will continue changing our hearts and minds from the inside out till we finally see ourselves as our true selves—sons and daughters loved by God, who Jesus Christ has redeemed at Calvary.
Father, may we learn the discipline of the Bible and grow spiritually in the process. May we hunger to know more and grow spiritually with Christ who strengthens us. Father, let us understand that there will be trials in our lives because of sin. Accept all of these trials as proof of our faithfulness to you and an opportunity for us to become more like Jesus Christ. Let our hearts be tender enough to receive them without being broken at every turn.

Prayer for More People to Find God
Dear God, I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude for your wonderful attributes, which have helped me learn about you through your Word. I thank you for helping me, and my family learn about the truths of scripture.
I pray for my church with all its members that God would touch their hearts and minds so that they might grow spiritually. I pray that God will help them to endure when things don’t go their way. I ask you to help our church members have patience, love and humility in difficult times.
Lord God, thank you for loving us as your sons and daughters. Thank you for caring about us even though we don’t always show it. Help us to be thankful that your Holy Spirit has been given to us so that we can learn to love others more than we love ourselves. I pray that you will impart your Holy Spirit to our church members so that we may grow spiritually in the truth of your word. May our hearts be open to learning more about you so we may bear fruit for your Kingdom.
Many church members don’t know you as a personal friend and savior. Please guide them to a personal relationship with you through Jesus Christ, who died for their sins and rose from the dead. Lord, I pray for the salvation of my church members’ families and friends who do not yet know you personally. Thank you for making us a church where people can learn more about you.

Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God,

Prayer for Giving Offerings in Church
Dear God, thank you for loving us so much that you sent your son Jesus to live and die for our sins. We rejoice in being saved from the penalty of our sins by your grace through Christ Jesus our Lord. His wonderful love has given us the gift of salvation through faith in him and awakened us to a new life. I ask that you would help those in my church who are struggling financially and spiritually because they don’t understand the love of God, the power of His Holy Spirit, or how much everything matters to God. Help them see that Jesus gave his life so they might have a fresh start and hope.
God, I pray for those whose hearts are made heavy by grief or sorrow, who are trapped in the maze of pornography, or who live without work. Please bring them deliverance from the darkness in their lives and help them walk in the light of your Word to find hope anew. Grant these brothers and sisters your grace for spiritual growth.
Lord God, I pray for a special revival of your Holy Spirit over our church members so that they may be more diligent about attending church meetings and growing more spiritually hour by hour as they learn more about you through scripture study.
Lord God, help our church members to be unified in the same mind and purpose. Lord Jesus, I pray that you would give us all the grace we need to obey you and Jesus. Help us all trust you more each day because we truly believe everything will work out for our good in Christ. We believe you care about our unity and the good of your Kingdom. Please continue to work on us so that we may grow spiritually and be used by God, like your children whom he loves and will use for his glory alone. I ask it in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer for the Salvation of the Church
Dear God, I come before you today in prayer for my church. Thank you for all the help and strength you have given us throughout this difficult time of trials. I know your help will be multiplied a thousandfold to all our members so they can see the truth about being saved.
In Jesus’s name, I pray.
I also pray for my church family and friends that they may be transformed from the inside out through the power of the Holy Spirit. May our church become known as one where people are saved! Everyone will understand what true salvation is, not just a religious formality or feeling. May our hearts feel like an oven waiting to bake those who walk a path away from Christ. Lord God, hear my prayer! Bless our church leaders as they lead us to walk by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ, please make way for sinners to be saved and come to know you personally. Please help me not to give up when I see sin in my church family or friends. Help me love them more than they know and fervently pray that they find repentance in your name and believe in your name. I ask this in Jesus’s precious name, I pray. Amen
