Prayer for Peace for the Mother
As I walk through this pregnancy season, I need Your peace more than ever, Lord. The physical changes my body is going through can be overwhelming at times, and the thought of becoming a mother is both exhilarating and terrifying. But in the midst of it all, I am so grateful that You are in control.
You know exactly what this child needs, and You have a perfect plan for his or her life. Thank You for loving this child even more than I do. As I surrender my fears to You and trust in Your goodness, I pray that Your peace will fill my heart and mind. In Jesus’s name, I pray, Amen.

Prayer for Strength for Mother and Child
As I take my first steps into this new chapter of my life, I can’t help but feel a mix of emotions. On the one hand, I am excited about all that lies ahead. But on the other hand, I am scared and unsure of the future. This is a journey that I have never been on before, and I need Your strength to get through it.
I know that the next few months will be filled with long hours of labor, and I ask for Your strength to endure it. I also know that there will be many sleepless nights as I recover from childbirth and learn how to breastfeed.
I need Your strength to get through all of this. And most of all, I need Your strength to be the best mother I can be. Thank You for always being by my side, even when feeling weak. Thank You for giving me the strength to embark on this new journey.
Amen.

Prayer for a Mother’s Wisdom
Lord, as I become a mother, there are so many things I do not know. There is so much to learn. Teach me what it means to be a good mother. Show me how to love my child the way You love us. Give me wisdom regarding discipline, nutrition, rest, and everything else about my child’s well-being and growth. Please grant me the wisdom to make decisions in my child’s best interest, even when it is hard.
Thank You for surrounding me with Your wisdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Even though I am fearful and don’t know everything, I trust You will give me the strength and wisdom I need to be the best mother I can be. Thank You for the gift of this child.
I know that we can do great things with You by our side.
Amen.

An emotional provision includes patience, understanding, kindness, love, joy, peace, and hope. A spiritual provision such as discernment, guidance, direction, wisdom, knowledge, grace, mercy, protection, and salvation.
Thank You in advance for all that You will provide. We could not do this without You. In Jesus’ name Amen. Thank you so much for this baby! What a treasure they are! Thank You for watching over us as we care for them and providing everything we need to care for them well!
Amen!
