Dear God, before I sleep tonight, I want to pray to thank you for giving me the gift of being a grandparent. You already gave me children, and giving me a grandkid was a gift I didn’t know I deserved, so thank you for filling a part of me I didn’t know was empty.
While I am grateful I get to love my grandkids, I worry about the world they live in. They are exposed to drugs, temptations, and progressive thoughts that I fear are making them distance themselves from You.
Though their parents tried their best to raise them in Your way, the truth of the matter is it has taken a village to raise them, and some things are beyond our control. So now I am praying to You, God, to protect my grandkids from going astray. Please help me to remind them that they must remain obedient to Your word. They must remain fearful of Your wrath, and they must remain to be faithful to Your grace.
Please give them the courage to say no to things that are not good for them and to choose ways that keep them closer to You, God. Please keep them kind, loving, merciful, and loyal to you, God. Amen.

Lord God, my grandchildren, are good Christians, and because of this, they are constantly bombarded with evil temptations, spiritual attacks, and the jealous evil eye. Yet, they stay steadfast in their belief and faith. They continue to worship, study Your Word, and devote their time to practicing good deeds.
However, I also know the Devil is strong, and when the Devil wants to destroy something good, he is relentless. And so, God, I pray today that you also make my grandchildren strong and courageous. Teach them to be faithful to your commandments and always remind them of your love, guidance, and protection.

Prayer to Protect My Grandkids from Feeling Alone
Lord, I kneel before you to keep my grandchildren company. As they are getting older, they are gradually growing away from us. They now have their own lives, work, and find their place in the world.
I have been in their place, and I have felt alone so many times. When they get rejected, please remind them that You have plans for them and that they shouldn’t worry. When they don’t get what they want in life, please remind that your plans are bigger than their plans, so, they should trust that You are working their success for them and that you are preparing their happiness.
When they experience loss, despair, and deep sadness, please remind them they can come to You. Please remind them that You are their refuge and sanctuary. Please remind them that you are their strength, and they shouldn’t be angry, resentful, and hate You or the world. Please remind my grandkids that they are not alone. You are always there for them, waiting for them to come to You.
Please, God, protect my grandkids from feeling alone. Please remind them that the safest place they can be is with Jesus, So when they start feeling like the world is against them, please call on them to call on You because you are all we need. Amen.
