Every day, all around the world, Christians face persecution for their beliefs. In some countries, it is illegal to be a Christian. In others, Christians are forced to meet secretly for fear of violence. And yet, despite the risks, these courageous men and women continue to follow Christ. They are an inspiration to us all.
Let us remember our persecuted brothers and sisters in our prayers. As we journey with Christ to the cross, let us offer up our sufferings for them. Let us ask God to give them strength amid trials and to bring them comfort in their times of sorrow. And let us pray that one day soon, they will be able to worship freely and without fear.

Prayer for Our Persecuted Brothers and Sisters
Lord, we lift up our brothers and sisters who are being persecuted for their faith in You. We cannot imagine the courage it takes to stand firm in their beliefs, especially when faced with torture, imprisonment, or even death. We pray for their safety and for Your protection over them.
As they suffer discrimination and violence, we pray that they would remember that You are always with them. That You will never leave them nor forsake them. That they are never alone, even in the darkest of times. We pray that Your light would shine through them and that those who see them would be drawn to You.
And we pray for their persecutors that Your love would break through the hatred in their hearts. That they would see the error of their ways and turn to You for forgiveness. We know that only Your perfect love can cast out all fear, and we pray that Your love would fill them completely. Amen.
